These watches were produced for the Company Ordinance Supply Depot (COSD) of the UK Ministry of Defense (MOD). The Movements were sourced from Longines and Omega and put into a locally produced case. The dial should be marked with an MOD chevron and the caseback with (C.O.S.D.). They are nicknamed the "Tuna Can" by collectors for their very thick case.
