Notes

Though this was the first movement to carry the winged hourglass and be produced in the Longines factory, it was still conceptually a product of the etablissage system (the predominant watchmaking system in Switzerland at the time) and used ebauches made outside the factory by Japy, Robert and other comptoirs in the lower St. Imier Valley. All other components, however, appear to have been made in house in the Longines factory. An example of this movement was awarded a bronze medal at the Paris World Exposition of 1867.
