The 23O, is mechanically identical to the 10.68Z though it has better finishing and a different bridge structure. It is commonly mistaken for the later 23M which has an identical looking bridge structure but differs from its predecessor in height. The 23O is the same height as the 10.68Z (4.1 mm) compared to the 23M (3 mm). The "O" designation means "L'Or", French for the word gold. This denotes its intention for use in gold cased offerings from the brand instead of the 10.68Z.
